How to Qualify for a Habitat Home
Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County is a fair housing lender. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, age, marital status, or sources of income.
Orientations Information and Registration
We appreciate your interest in our homeownership program. However, due to an abundance of applications, we will not be accepting any new applications until further notice. We will post future orientation session dates to the Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County Facebook page when the application process re-opens.
While attending a homeownership orientation is the BEST way to learn about becoming a Habitat homeowner, we understand some people’s schedules may make it difficult to attend. If you cannot attend, click the “HFHNCC Homeownership Orientation” link below and carefully review the overview of how the program works and the 2018 Income Guidelines.
AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE DOCUMENT, click the “Pre-Qualification Packet” link below, download the form and follow the included instructions on how to submit it to the Family Selection department.
